It was another yet round of severe weather for portions of Acadiana Friday afternoon with an intense front pushing through and bringing strong wind gusts and large hail to various south Louisiana communities.

This will help set the stage for what will be a beautiful weekend with cooler then normal temperatures and gradually clearing skies, another stunner of a forecast is expected to arrive on Sunday.

Highs the next couple of days will sit in the 70s, with the low 70s expected Saturday afternoon and a steady wind coming in out of the north around 10-15 mph and gusts slightly higher.

Mostly clouds skies to start the day on Saturday with gradual clearing through the afternoon which will open the door for some beautiful weather on Sunday with winds relaxing, sun shining, and temperatures warming.

This pleasant pattern will continue into next work week with a slow warm up of temperatures through the week.
