Our Louisiana summer rolls along Thursday with the swampy, hot weather we all know and love (maybe not love).
Temperatures look to be even hotter on Thursday with the high pushing 94 and the heat index racing up to 110 by the late afternoon.
As is normally the case a chance for a few broken up showers will exist although most of us will be staying dry.
Winds kick up a little which will help out with the heat, but since they’ll be coming out of the WSW at 10-15 mph it’ll be a fairly warm breeze.
If you’re hoping for a break this weekend you’ll have to travel somewhere else since this pattern will last through into next week.
