The weekend has finally arrived just as temperatures slide back to their typical summer levels along with our standard humidity.
After a quick break from oppressive dewpoints we’ve seen a shift in the wind, now coming from the south and dragging in plenty of moisture.
Early signs of that moisture arriving will be the lows sitting in the mid 70s with a heat index that will likely stick in the 80s.
As one would expect more moisture will mean more clouds over the weekend, although still expect plenty of sunshine.
Hazy conditions will be with us on Saturday as dust pushes in from the Gulf of Mexico so we likely won’t have those deep blue skies.
The good news with the dust, however, is that this will end in a beautiful sunset Saturday night with the dust scattering light and leading to some impressive colors.
Outside of the dust though it will be business as usual for the rest of the forecast, with daily scattered rain chances returning to the area.
