It’s been a real treat the last several days getting a break from some of the summer heat and humidity, even if it’s been a quick one.
Acadiana is locked in for at least one more night with comfortable temperatures with lows settling back in to the 60s.
Dewpoints will stay low for one more day with moisture starting to flow back into the atmosphere late Friday evening.
The sunshine will stick around with the dryer air but the added moisture will reintroduce some clouds to the forecast.
Showers will be back in the forecast on Saturday with isolated showers likely popping up around the area as the day heats up.
The rain will be a little more earnest through the first half of the work week, next week, and Acadiana will slowly sink back into the usual summer muck.
