There’s still plenty of showers in the forecast for Friday, but if you compare them to the last 24 hours it shouldn’t be too bad.
An absolutely saturated atmosphere means that with a little day time heating it won’t take much to get the showers and storms firing up.
Unlike Thursday showers will be a little more scattered and broken up, although still capable of providing a heavy soaking.
Keep an eye out for a few strong thunderstorms on Friday, although the stronger storms will be few and far between.
This will be the end of the little unsettled period we have been in over the last several days and we’re looking much better this weekend.
Although a return to the typical summer heat, at least it will be dry and Acadiana will get a chance to really dry out.
