It’s a very quiet forecast coming up across Acadiana with sunny skies dominating the forecast for the next few days.

The additional sunshine won’t do much to help temperatures, however, as we will only crawl up to around 60 Wednesday afternoon.

When you factor in a steady breeze out of the north it keeps the wind chill hovering in the upper 50s throughout the day.

Winds will be allowed to relax Wednesday night, and when combined with clear skies temperatures will bottom out in the upper 30s.

While it’ll certainly be pretty cold Thursday morning it doesn’t look like we will see temperatures get to the freezing mark, so plants will be alright.

Cooler, sunnier weather will persist through Thursday before clouds start to migrate back into the forecast before the weekend.
