Quiet, chilly start to the work week

The weekend’s weather was less than ideal even once the showers came to an end on Saturday, it would be hard to describe the weather as pleasant.

While the chill will remain in the air a little longer we will at least get a few sunny days with the last of the clouds moving out Monday morning.

Highs on Monday will be in the mid 50s with just enough of a breeze to make the wind chill a little lower than what the thermometer is reading.

The clear skies will give us a shot of frost early Tuesday morning and temperatures will likely be sitting around freezing when the sun comes up.

Since it’s expected to be clear and calm we may wake up to a little frost on Tuesday so plants should be taken care of and pets brought inside, although the pipes won’t be an issue.

The first half of the week is shaping up to be quiet with the next round of rainfall expected to swing through on Thursday afternoon.
