The temperatures are looking to take their first tumble below freezing and the coldest they’ve been since the deep January freeze.

A Freeze Warning has been issued for Wednesday night/Thursday morning with lows expected to settle just below the freezing mark.

This won’t be strong enough of a freeze to cause pipes to bust, however, sensitive vegetation will need to be taken care of to protect them from the cold.

Skies will stay cloudy through the first half of the day before we will finally start to see some clearing and some sunshine peaking through by the late afternoon.

Wind chill will once again be sitting in the 30s all day so the thermometer will be slightly deceptive Wednesday afternoon.

High pressure will finally be allowed to set up for the second half of the week so temperatures will slowly warm up and the sunshine will return.
