High pressure continues to dominate the forecast as it has done for the majority of the work week, keeping summer rolling in south Louisiana.
So it should come as no surprise that it will be another hot, humid, and sunny day across Acadiana since there essentially has been no change in the overall pattern.
Highs, once again, will push up into the low 90s and enough humidity that the heat index, once again, will hover around the triple digits.
A few coastal showers will be the only kind of active weather we could see and even those will be few and far between.
The rest of the work week will look more or less the same, as the weekend rolls around the ridge will break down and that will open the door to more showers starting Saturday afternoon.
