If over the last few days you thought the forecast couldn’t get any quieter then it turns out that it actually can get a little quieter.
The dry air we’ve discussed moving in has put a cap on even the isolated showers we’ve had the last few days giving us nothing but sunny skies and hot afternoons.
Despite the dry air the only time it’ll feel a little more comfortable outside will be the mornings when temperatures may reach down into the low 70s.
The rest of the afternoon, however, will be hot with temperatures pushing into the low 90s and enough moisture still to take the heat index into the triple digits.
Moisture won’t return to the forecast until the end of the weekend which is when we’ll see daily isolated showers popping back up into the region.
