The week may be new but the forecast stays basically the same as it did last through out the majority of last work week.

We’ll see rain chances fluctuate a little from day to day, and it might be a little more comfortable outside but for the most part the forecast won’t have much excitement.

A front is expected to push through the area on Tuesday, but it is ill defined and will be capable of sparking a handful of showers in the afternoon and evening.

Embedded in the showers will be the occasional thunderstorm which could bring in frequent lightning and some gusty winds, which is typically the case with summer time storms.

The big question on everyone’s minds though is how cool will it be behind the front and unfortunately the answer is it really won’t be much different.

Temperatures won’t be too cool but we’ll get a little help with the humidity, some drier air is slated to move in behind the front which should help make it a little cooler overnight.

The early morning hours will be the most comfortable time period starting Wednesday morning with temperatures approaching the low 70s, but the afternoons will still be hot.

As high pressure sets up daily showers will virtually come to an end through the rest of the work week, leaving hot and sunny conditions from the midweek on into the weekend.
