It was a loud and blustery start to the day on Wednesday as a robust front that moved through the area bringing some strong storms to the area.

The storms moved through quickly, however, and the rest of the day will be a gradual clearing of both the rain and the clouds.

While winds won't be quite as strong as they were with the storms, they'll remain out of the north at a pretty brisk pace of about 10-15 mph (gusts could push 20-25 mph).

As clouds clear out a round of cooler and drier air will push through Acadiana making for a cool start to Thursday with lows expected to drop into the mid 50s overnight, and Thursday's high should stay in the lower 70s.

A quick look into the rest of the week and there's not too much to be concerned about, in fact very pleasant weather will stick with us into the weekend before we get our first taste of summer.
