Areas of fog will blanket the area this morning with some visibility dropping as low as 1/4 mile. These foggy areas should improve by the mid morning hours. Expect skies to remain mostly cloudy for the early part of the day, and we can't rule out a few patches of drizzle or light rain as the fog burns off. Late in the day we could see some clearing with afternoon temperatures climbing to near 70 degrees.

Overnight gradual clearing will continue, and by early Saturday morning skies should be mostly clear. Expect temperatures to drop back into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. A beautiful day is on tap for Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs near 70 degrees. Saturday night, skies will remain mostly clear as lows will drop to near 50. Sunday we'll see a decent amount of sunshine, with highs in the mid 70s. Expect some cloudiness to arrive late Sunday ahead of the next front.

On Monday, a cold front will approach the area. Expect a muggy and breezy start to the week. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase through the day. At this time any severe weather appears to remain to our north, but a few heavy downpours can't be ruled out. The front will pass through Monday afternoon, and winds will start gusting out of the north. Rainfall will end by Monday evening and colder weather will move in for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Expect mid week highs to run in the lower 50s, with overnight temperatures flirting with the freezing mark.
