Acadiana’s soaking rains will gradually draw to an end from west to east later Thursday evening.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for all of Acadiana through Thursday evening.
Additional rainfall of 1-3″ will be possible, especially across St Martin, Iberia and St Mary Parishes causing some localized street flooding, especially in more urban areas.
In addition, rain will accumulate in low-lying areas and the usual spots where water gets high after a big soaking.
Rainfall totals through mid-Thursday afternoon have been in the 2-4″ range.
