After a raw and chilly day it is going to be a cold night as lows drop into the low to mid 30s with skies gradually clearing during the overnight hours.

Here is a look at the latest hour-by-hour temperatures for Acadiana.

Monday will be a nice winter day with plenty of sunshine but temperatures will still be on the cool side as highs will only reach the mid 50s.

Forecast highs for Monday afternoon

Tuesday morning lows will dip down close to the freezing mark creating a good chance for frost again so sensitive plants will need to be protected but pipes should be fine.

During the afternoon high pressure will start to slide off to the east allowing temperatures to warm into the upper 50s.

Clouds move back over Wednesday as warm and humid air off the Gulf slides into the region.

Rain chances return Thursday as our next cold front swings through Acadiana.

Right now this looks to be a faster moving system then Saturday’s so rainfall amounts will not be as heavy only about a half inch to an inch.

Then we will clear out Friday as cool and breezy conditions filter into the region with highs in the upper 50s.

Next weekend looks nice with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s during the day and near 40 for lows.
