The beautiful weather will linger for the rest of the weekend so get outside and enjoy the comfortable temperatures Sunday because it will be quite a while before we see highs this warm again.
Here is a look at the latest hour-by-hour temperatures.
Monday a dry cold front will swing through Acadiana but it will still be pleasant with highs near 70.
You will notice when the front moves through during the afternoon as our winds will switch out of the north and pick up to around 10-18 mph with gusts over 20 mph.
Here is a look at the latest Futurecast winds.
Eventually this northerly flow will push down some cold air as lows Tuesday morning will fall into the lower 40s.
And the winter air will be hanging around for a couple days as highs Tuesday and Wednesday will only top out in the mid to upper 50s.
Also, Wednesday and Thursday morning we will have the chance for frost as lows will drop into the low to mid 30s.
Thursday winds will begin to flip out of the south pushing warmer air back over Acadiana as highs will climb into the low to mid 60s.
Friday clouds and a few isolated showers will start move back over the region ahead of our next weather making which looks to arrive late Friday into Saturday morning.
This system could produce some heavy showers and storms along with the possibility for a few strong to severe storms.
We will be keeping an eye on the models and as it gets closer to fine tune exactly what we can expect.
Then behind this system it looks like another round of cold air is heading our way with highs in the 50s next Sunday through the following Tuesday and overnight lows dropping down into the mid 30s.
