High pressure has settled in and dry and pleasant weather is expected for the weekend. We’re starting our Friday with temperatures in the 50s and 60s, levels we haven’t seen since the early part of May. Skies are clear and winds are light and variable. Temperatures will gradually warm to near 80 degrees, and humidity levels will remain low. Later this evening for football fans, enjoy clear skies and comfortable temperatures.

Just a few clouds mixing in Friday. Pleasant temperatures.

A slight change in the wind pattern will keep our temperatures a few degrees warmer overnight, but it will still be rather pleasant as lows drop to near 60 degrees. More sunshine is expected for Saturday, so all festivals and events across the region, including tailgating and football should be fine. Humidity will be low, so remember to stay hydrated. Sunscreen is recommended too. You can still get a pretty good burn in October if you’re out long enough! Expect highs to reach the mid 80s.

A few showers early next week, then cooler again.

Sunday will feel a bit more humid with temperatures in the mid 80s again. An approaching front early next week could bring a few showers and thunderstorms into Monday and Tuesday. Skies will clear again for the mid week with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.
