There’s been a bump in moisture in the atmosphere which means a slight bump in your rain chances on Monday with a spotty thunderstorm or two popping up in the afternoon.
Winds will be picking up from the south which will further add moisture to a saturated atmosphere so the rain chances will continue to increase through the week with showers becoming more widespread.
In the meantime highs will be in the low 90s but the heat index will likely be up in the mid to upper 90s as dewpoints sit in the low 70s, which is fairly oppressive humidity.
Day time heating will be the focus of the shower activity which means the evening for the most part will be quiet as showers will settle down once the sun goes down.
