It’s that time of year when we try to hold on to the last lingering days of spring before the realities of summer in Louisiana began to settle in, and this weekend seems to be the big transition point.
Monday morning has been off to a great start, with a comfortable and cool start to the day, but a quick warm up will send the highs into the mid 80s by the afternoon.
While mid 80s certainly isn’t too bad it will be the addition of some moisture into the atmosphere which will start to add that stick which is all too familiar here in Louisiana.
Winds will continue to be out of the south and bringing this moisture into the area, with high pressure firmly entrenched to the east these southerly winds will continue through the week.
Monday and Tuesday both look very quiet with plenty of sunshine but the daily rain chances are starting to become more prevalent as moisture continues to build up in the atmosphere
