It’s a quiet forecast across Acadiana, which will be a nice treat with the big Festival International around the corner and no problem areas in the forecast to worry about at all.
Mornings will be pleasantly cool starting on Tuesday and with plenty of sunshine on tap it won’t take long to get up into the upper 70s and eventually sitting around 80 in the afternoon.
Winds will start to pick up Tuesday coming in from the north around 8-12 mph and a few gusts that could end up a little higher, none of which should be problematic.
The only change in the weather will be a passing cold front on Thursday morning which will spark a handful of showers early in the day but will be clearing up by Festival time.
The front will succeed in knocking back temperatures and humidity and setting the stage for a stunning weekend forecast.
