Despite a wet and blustery start to Sunday the showers will clear through the morning and clouds eventually clearing as we get further into the afternoon as dry air filters in to Acadiana.
Once the showers clear winds will be the big issue of the day with strong gusty winds lasting through Sunday with winds from the west-northwest between 10-15 mph with gusts up to around 15-20 mph.
Even with the wind most of the day should be pleasant with highs getting up into the mid 70s and a fairly cool night coming up with lows getting down into the low to mid 50s.
This will set up a quiet work week with plenty of sunshine and warming temperatures leading up to Festival International.
