It’s be a gloomy couple of days across Acadiana and while the clouds lingered through sunrise on Tuesday the signs of clearing were starting to take shape and the sun was making its return.
Plenty of sunshine is on tap for later parts of the day which will help out temperatures a little with highs getting into the low 70s and atmospheric moisture dropping.
Winds will be gusty through the afternoon around the 10-15 mph range, which may make it a little cool outside especially if you find yourself unprotected in the shade.
The weather through the majority of the week is looking very pleasant with temperatures staying in the 70s and sunshine lasting through until roughly Friday afternoon.
Right at the end of the work week winds will be back in from the south dragging in all the warm, moist air and start destabilizing the atmosphere ahead of a mean looking front that will arrive this weekend.
