The showers made their way across the region Wednesday morning and despite a wintry start to the day there is plenty of sunshine coming up for the rest of the afternoon.
Clouds that are lingering behind the cold front will burn up as the morning goes on and an abundance of sunshine will be on tap for the remainder of the day and even Thursday.
Despite all of the sunshine the temperatures will remain cool with highs only getting up to 68, but the winds won’t help temperatures much with strong gusty winds coming in from the north around 15-20 mph.
Winds will remain high through the day but should actually start to relax which will allow the lows to get down into the 40s making for a chilly start to the day on Thursday.
A quick turn around in the weather world with showers and storms returning to the forecast on Friday and Saturday.
