In Vermilion Parish, Chic-A-La-Pie rolled through Kaplan on Tuesday.
This is the only Mardi Gras parade in the parish.
It started in 1952.
The founder, Ruby Bailey, had a vision of creating a female-led krewe. And even on Tuesday, the krewe is led only by women.
