The 2nd Annual Louisiana Boil-Off is underway in downtown Lafayette.
It’s going on at Warehouse 535 and will continue on into the night.
Attendees can enjoy live music and crawfish, along with a cooking competition. That portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Miles Perret Cancer Services. Boil-off teams will compete in one of two categories: amateur or professional.
Admission to the event is free with the purchase of tasting tickets. Tasting tickets may be purchased in a sheet for $10.
Judging will continue until 8:30 p.m., followed by the announcement of winners. Awards will be given to the top three contenders in the Professional Category, Amateur/Corporate Category, and People’s Choice.
