The UL Lafayette Alumni Association will host their 2nd annual Camellia Tea on Saturday, February 1.
Guests are invited to stroll the gardens and view the campus camellias at the Alumni Center beginning at 3:00 pm.
A traditional afternoon tea will be served indoors at 4:00 pm with snacks and sandwiches.
Mimosas will be served upon guest arrival. Experts on tea traditions as well as camellias will also be on hand for those interested in learning more.
The Association says that guests are invited to dress up to enjoy the afternoon. A special prize will be awarded to the guest whose hat is selected as crowd favorite.
Over half of the tickets have already been sold, so those interested are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.
Individual tickets for the event are $40 and $400 to reserve a table for eight.
More information on the event and to purchase tickets at the Camelia Tea Eventbrite page.
