This week KATC Tools for Schools and Jim Olivier Family of Companies is at Kaplan High School in Vermilion Parish.
The students of Ms. Marissa Casterline’s College-bound class requested Chromebooks to help get a head start on mastering college papers
College-bound junior class junior and seniors will be using the Chromebooks to get a feel for writing for college. Casterline says it’s important that students have the right tools to prepare them for college work.
“A lot of my students struggle with grammar so having the proper technology to be able to spell check and grammar check and do research online is really important for them,” Casterline says.
