Our Tools for Schools team is on the road in Lafayette Parish this week; Dave Baker visited J.W. Faulk Elementary School for the drop-off.
Thanks to Jim Olivier’s Family of Companies, this week’s visit was to third grade classes at Faulk.
Teacher Cristin Stevens requested wobble cushions for her students, as a way to help them burn off energy while they’re in class.
"The wobble cushions are designed for kids who have a little more energy. It helps them stabilize their energy and kind of burn off a little more energy while they’re still learning in the classroom," said teacher April Jackson.
The cushions help the kids stay focused by giving them a way to move in class, without disturbing their classmates, Stevens says.
