The St. Landry Parish Government is asking residents in the Lebeau area who live along Hwy 71 from U.S. 190 north to LA 10 to voluntarily evacuate at this time due to expected flooding impacts.

"Please note the American Red Cross is controlling and operating shelter operations. Residents seeking shelter must bring a valid photo ID," a release states.
