NEW ORLEANS (KATC) – For the third-straight week, Summer Ellyson is the Sun Belt’s pitcher of the week.
The for Terulings star struck out 38 in 18 innings of work last week. The Cajuns won all five of their games, Ellyson earned four win. The junior also surpassed 500 career strikeouts.
This is the sixth pitcher of the week award Summer’s earned this season and third in as many weeks.
