LAFAYETTE (KATC) – Impending rain is changing the schedules for Louisiana baseball and softball this weekend.
The changes begin Friday with baseball moving its series opener with Arkansas State back to 7:30 p.m. Softball will stay on schedule at 6:00 p.m.
Both softball and baseball have changed their Saturday games to double-headers, canceling Sunday’s slate of action. Start Saturday times have not changed, Louisiana softball’s second game against Texas-Arlington will remain at 2:00 p.m., the second half of the double-header will follow. Baseball will still continue their series Saturday at 4:00 p.m., with its finale to follow 45-minutes afterwards.
Pre-purchased tickets for Sunday can be redeemed on Saturday. Tickets for Saturday’s games can be used all day.
