LAFAYETTE (KATC) Following Louisiana football’s first spring scrimmage, Ragin’ Cajun head coach Billy Napier was quick to talk about his quarterback.
Junior, Levi Lewis, appears be the Cajuns likely starter come September. Speaking Thursday, Napier said he’s been pleased with development of Lewis as a passer.
“Levi is the type of quarterback you need to adapt as a coach, evolve and play to his strengths,” Napier said. “I think we did that today. He’s a good athlete and makes plays with his feet. He’s improved as a passer, and that’s what stands out to me.”
