LAFAYETTE (KATC) — Freshman Blake Schultz got UNO’s best Tuesday night, allowing seven runs in one inning of work in the Privateers 10-3 win.
Schultz’s final line read 7 runs, 4 earned runs on five hits. Brennan Breaux and Jonathan Windham drove in Louisiana’s 3 runs in the loss. Hayden Cantrelle recorded two base hits, and has now hit in four-straight games.
The loss is Louisiana’s third in a row. The Cajuns fall to 6-10 on the season.
Louisiana raps up this five-game home stand Wednesday against Southern Miss.
