Does your child love shooting ball? Sign them up to participate in the first Kids Shooting Competition at the Cajundome taking place prior to the UL vs. Georgia state basketball game Friday, February 8th: 6 pm – 7:30 pm (Game begins at 8 pm).
There will be three groups of shooters: K5 – 2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th grade. High school students are not eligible to participate. Each child is guaranteed two shooting rounds which will include free throws and around the world. Depending on the number of participants there may be more rounds. The two highest scoring participants in each group will finish their competition for first place on the Cajundome floor during half time of the game. Each first place winner will receive the VIP Experience for the next home basketball game vs. ULM on 2/16 and an autographed ball from Coach Marlin. The VIP Experience includes tickets for the winner and their family, a pre-game tour, and they will be invited to participate in the game day promotional activities which can include player high fives, the Sonic Shoot-Out and/or becoming the pregame ball kid. Every child who participates will receive a free poster and one free ticket to the UL vs ULM game on 2/16.
