A 17-year-old senior from Iota High School returned from the CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin crowned the World’s Fittest Teen, for the second time.

Chloe Smith gave up a lot when she was just 13-years-old to take on CrossFit competitively full time.

So, it’s not like I have to work out every day,” Chloe said. "I want to work out every day. This is my sport.”

Her current coach, Kimberly Vincent, has seen Chloe’s transformation and continues to work with her at her facility in Jennings.

“I don’t consider Chloe a natural athlete. She came in as a good runner," Vincent said. "She had lungs, she was very skinny, and needed to put on some weight. Muscle weight! So, there was some things that she was naturally good at but in the CrossFit world, she’s not built like gymnast, she’s not built like a builder.”

Chloe previously won in the 14-15 division back in 2017 and placed third in the 16-17 division in 2018. After getting a taste of competing in the 16-17 division, Chloe was able to master her weaknesses.

When she returned to the CrossFit Games in 2019, she left as the World’s Fittest Teen, once again.
