NEW ORLEANS (KATC) – Anthony Davis has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal sends Brandon Ingram, Josh Heart and Lonzo Ball to New Orleans according to Woj, as well as three first round picks.
Other new reports Saturday suggest there are more fine details that have yet to be fully released including pick deferments and swaps.
ESPN insider Brian Windhorst compared the deal to the 2004 Celtics-Nets deal in podcast Saturday and said New Orleans will have control of the Lakers first round picks for the next 5-7 years.

Teams are already expressing significant interest in the No. 4 overall pick belonging now to the Pelicans, league sources tell ESPN. Talks are expected to continue over the next few days. This deal could get even bigger for the Pelicans.
