The Lydia Cancer Association's 10th-Annual Love Cure Awareness Breast Cancer Fun Run/Walk is happening on Saturday, October 19 at Weeks Park in Lydia.
Online registration is available through Friday on the Lydia Cancer Association website. Day-of registration begins on at 7 a. m.
The event begins at 8 a. m. with an opening ceremony honoring survivors and remembering those who have lost their battle with cancer. The fun run/walk will follow the ceremony.
This fun run/walk is a major fundraiser for Lydia Cancer Association. Lydia Cancer Association provides limited financial assistance to cancer patients who are currently in treatment in the parishes of Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermillion.
