Evangeline Parish students will begin phasing out of hybrid next month, officials say.
According to superintendent Darwin Lazard, the phase-out will begin on February 1:
PHASE IN INFORMATION
1. All hybrid students in grades 6 and 12 will return on 2-1-2021 (Monday).
2. All hybrid students in grades 8 and 9 will return on 2-8-2021 (Monday after next).
For students in the grade-levels mentioned above, there will be no hybrid schedule (“AA” and “BB” days) after Friday, January 29, 2021 (grades 6 & 12) and February 5, 2021 (grades 8 & 9), unless you are notified otherwise.
Specified students will be expected to participate in on-campus learning on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, similar to students in PreK-5. Wednesdays will continue to be a virtual learning day for all students.
