In Lafayette, a group of local musicians are opening their studio to keep Acadiana entertained, and to help their fellow artists make some money.
Cha Cha Studios streams live concerts every Friday night on YouTube.
The concerts vary from rock to Zydeo to Swing Out and Southern Soul.
So far, they've received viewers not only from Acadiana, but from around the world. Some of the viewers are leaving tips for the performers.
"My dad mentioned previous years ago that he was thinking about doing this at Cha-Cha Studio," said Nathan Williams Jr. "With this pandemic, it's the perfect time to put it to use. It's a great atmosphere because the arists are here. It's recorded multitrack, and they can use it for promotional materials, and it also gives the artists some financial income."
