OPD, Second Harvest to hand out food boxes Wednesday in Opelousas

On Wednesday, April 22 the Opelousas Police Department will host a Food Box Giveaway starting at 3:00 pm at the Opleousas Police Department.

The giveaway is being held in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank and Dads & Kids.

Officers say that residents can drive through to pick up a food box at the Opelousas Police Deptartment on Grolee Street side of the building.

Upon pulling up, drivers will have FoodBoxes placed into their vehicles.
