Plate lunches will be given out in New Iberia for residents thanks to the selflessness of a local church.
On Saturday April 25, free lunches will be provided to the Bayou Teche area community by Zion Hill Christian Fellowship in New Iberia.
Beginning at noon at their church location 626 W. Main Street, members will be giving out 2 plate lunches for those who drive up. Zion Hill Christian Fellowship says that plate lunches will consist of red beans and rice, baked chicken and other goodies.
Food will be handed out until they run out. There is no fee.
