BATON ROUGE — LSU police officers have not found any suspicious or armed person following an evening search on campus, according to a LSU university alert.
LSUPD searched the area and did not locate any suspicious activity or armed persons. LSU is returning to normal operations.

According to the Advocate, that alert came after an initial alert of a suspicious person seen near Dalrymple Dr. and W. Frat Ln. That alert went out on the LSU's official Twitter account at around 8:30 p.m.
After finding no suspicious person another alert was sent out saying that LSU was returning to normal operations.
"LSU is returning to normal operations," the second alert said.
During the search, students in the area were asked to use caution.
