A Crowley café is changing up its menu to better serve families during this pandemic.
The Vanilla Bean has been selling family meals to customers. Owned by mother-daughter duo Darlene Thibodeaux and Alicia Broussard, The Vanilla Bean offers different options for meals each week.
The café is also looking to hire new employees to help them continue serving. Currently, there are two part-time positions available.
During the pandemic restrictions, The Vanilla Bean was able to easily modify their service options to continue providing food to their customers.
"We did as much as we could. We did curbside, we did delivery, we stayed with Waitr. We also added a new app, Clovis, that does curbside, and we also were allowed to have customers come in and pick up their food," explained owner Alicia Broussard.
The Vanilla Bean also offers specialty cakes.
It is located at 414 N. Parkerson Avenue in Crowley.
