A Rayne business is using its tools to help others fight COVID-19. Rotating Solutions, Inc.'s work is not only keeping their doors open, but helping other businesses do the same.
They're helping other businesses stay clean during this pandemic with decontamination units.
"It's a machine that sprays sanitzers and disinfectant to cover large areas. It can cover warehouses, restaurants, schools and playgrounds," Josh Breaux with the Rotating Solutions said. Breaux says with the unit, germs and viruses are wiped out within minutes in large areas.
"We saw companies looking to open up. We realized there was a pretty big need to cover large facilities," Breaux said. "What was out there was equipment that did smaller projects. What this (Decontamination Units) does is cover large areas quickly."
There's a large demand for the units and it's reaching beyond Acadiana.
"It's really taken off," Breaux said. "We're actually building I think 10 that's heading to the west coast. We've got some going up to Boston."
He added, "We're really excited we're able to stay open and keep our employees busy. We're also excited to help support calls to sanitize and get people back out working and doing our part to help."
