A spring like day coming up for Acadiana on Tuesday with a warm, muggy air mass stretching all across south Louisiana.
This moisture rich atmosphere has lead to the development of some fog and misty conditions to start the day, although fog shouldn't last too long into the morning.
Once the mist breaks we'll be left with a thinning layer of clouds and even some patchy sunshine will be possible through the afternoon.
The clouds are expected to return Tuesday night as a warm front lifts north out of the Gulf of Mexico, providing a round of scattered showers to push across the area Wednesday morning.
It'll be another warm, muggy day on Wednesday but a cold front is taking aim on Thursday dragging in another round of showers and ushering in a very cold stretch of days.
