The weather will stay quiet for the midweek, but the first subtle changes will arrive and set the stage for the next round of active weather Friday night/Saturday morning.
Mostly sunny skies will drive temperatures Wednesday afternoon into the mid and upper 70s with slightly more humidity pushing into the atmosphere.
Clouds will drift into the area on Thursday as the moisture increases, but even with the extra cloud cover temperatures should still run a little above average, staying in the upper 70s.
Acadiana's next front will move through the region late Friday night, sparking a handful of showers across the area which will continue into early Saturday morning.
The good news is that those showers should end fairly early in the day Saturday leaving the rest of the weekend dry and cool.
