Along the coast in Iberia Parish, waters are rising quickly Friday afternoon. The parish has set up a phone bank to help keep residents informed. It was something they learned was helpful last year and started it with Hurricane Laura just a few weeks ago.
Now, with Hurricane Delta, they have started it up again. Anyone with questions about the evacuations or curfews can call 337-492-5451.
Levi Ismail was out on a boat dock, that was already covered with water at 4 p.m.
Mandatory evacuations are in place for parts of Iberia Parish.
