Waitr announced on Wednesday that it is expanding its service to Abbeville.
In a release, the food ordering and delivery app, says that delivery service has launched in the city of Abbeville, increasing Waitr’s footprint in the surrounding Lafayette area.
Waitr says they have implemented several initiatives around customer and restaurant service including alcohol delivery, same-day grocery delivery, and no-Contact delivery offerings.
They have also expanded delivery hours in the greater Lafayette area. Customers can use the app from 7am-11pm on weekdays, with closing times extended until 11:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Waitr is currently looking for drivers in Abbeville. Those interested can apply at https://waitrapp.com/become-a-driver
They also offered free delivery with a promo for those Abbeville residents who use the app. That promo will be available for Abbeville users until February 1, 2021. Waitr says that customers can use the promo code “ABBEVILLE” at checkout.
