The Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office (VPSO) is asking for help from the public in locating the owner of a male goat.
The goat is black, with a white marking on his left side. He was found on Dave Rd. North of Abbeville off of highway 82.
The goat was found walking around the area and appears to have gotten loose from its owner and may have chewed the rope to get away.
Contact Lt. Dwayne Broussard with VPSO at 337-893-0871 if you are the owner, or may know the owner of the goat.
The goat is currently being held in a safe location with food, water and shelter.
