A vigil was held Monday night to remember the Kaplan teen who died in a crash.
Kalix James Broussard, 18, of Kaplan, and Kiristan Michelle Mitchell, 29, of Kaplan, were both killed in a double fatal crash on LA Hwy 14 near Abbeville Monday morning.
Vermilion Catholic High School posted on its Facebook page that there would be a prayer vigil Monday at 6:00 pm followed by a candlelit memorial procession to the football field. A rosary was being said around his number that was painted on the field for the vigil.
